Cleantech: Your innovations for Israel’s catch-up demand

In Switzerland environmental protection has been anchored for years in laws and in the consciousness of the population. In Israel the process of rethinking has only just begun. Since 2010 new laws and implementation mechanisms have obliged companies and citizens to change their approach to the environment. To this end, considerable state funding has been made available.

Cleantech means much more than the use of innovative, resource-saving technologies. Cleantech stands for a new attitude of resource-saving business activity in all sectors. The aim is to realign business processes on the basis of efficient and careful use of raw materials and energy.

Many opportunities exist for Switzerland’s export-oriented Cleantech industry, because Israel needs environmental technologies, processes, goods and services.
